Hi Barbara,

I didn't forget to enter your contest....I just flubbed up. My post I have up today was going to talk about the developmental benefits....it was going to be my entry....but as I was preparing it last night I came to the realization that yesterday was the deadline, not today. :( So I figured I would still go ahead and throw all my costuming pictures up, even if I wasn't going to be eligible.

Anyways, I look forward to reading through all the entries and seeing who you pick.

I vote for David, of course. That trivia about people turning themselves into animals was....uh....interesting (to say the least).

Love your blog, as always. And sorry I didn't enter.

I love the seasonal box. I can't wait to see what you come up with!

The seasonal aisle is a great idea! Too bad I am a serious beginner in the cooking department because I love pumpkin bread. Can I make it in the microwave? LOL

I LOVE the seasonal box! And goodies?! ohboy, ohboy, ohboy!

I hope you didn't mind my little tease, Lisa. I soooo look forward to all your posts! Everyone - go see wonderful photos of Lisa's daughters in costume!

Uh, oh! Now I have set up an expectation! I hope I can live up to it, Stephanie - go back to the pumpkin bread recipe comments - I left instructions for how I cook pumpkin.

The Weaver

  • My Life is but a weaving Between my Lord and me; I cannot choose the colors He worketh steadily.

Oft times He weaveth sorrow And I, in foolish pride, Forget He sees the upper, And I the under side.

Not til the loom is silent And the shuttles cease to fly, Shall God unroll the canvas And explain the reason why.

The dark threads are as needful In the Weaver's skillful hand, As the threads of gold and silver In the pattern He has planned.

He knows, He loves, He cares, Nothing this truth can dim. He gives His very best to those Who chose to walk with Him.
